THE MEETING, held in Sallisaw was called to order by Bruce Tabor, Board Chairman.
THE INVOCATION was given by Lisa Williams.

THE MINUTES of the April 2008 meeting were approved as written. The motion to approve the minutes was made
by Ronnie Morgan and seconded by Addie Griffin. The motion carried with 6 yes votes and 1 abstention.
FINANCIAL REPORT: A motion was made by Donna Wood and seconded by William Long to accept the
Financial Report (March 2008) as presented. The motion carried with 6 yes votes and 1 abstention.
PROGRAM STATUS REPORTS: A motion was made by Ronnie Morgan and seconded by Bruce Tabor to
accept the Program Status Report (April 2008) as received. The motion carried with 6 yes votes and 1 abstention.
HEAD START - PLANS: A motion was made by Addie Griffin and seconded by Donna Wood to accept the plans
distributed at the last meeting as presented. The motion carried with 6 yes votes and 1 abstention.
DOE – 2008 CONTRACT: A motion was made by Donna Wood and seconded by Ronnie Morgan to accept the
DOE Contract for $114,856 as presented. The motion carried with 6 yes votes and 1 abstention.
Jeannie Clinton – Head Start Director distributed some more plans for Head Start to be voted on at the next
meeting.
