Utility assistance is available in Cherokee, Adair and Sequoyah Counties. Applicants must not have a
previous balance on their utility bill. They must provide proof of income, a copy of their social security
card and photo ID. Amount of assistance is determined by the amount of available funds. Clients can
only be served once every six months.
